First Class service to Polrtland Maine from Boston's North Station
   MBTA North Shore commuter rail trains arrive at Boston's North Station. Amtrak service to NYC/PHL/D.C. departs from South Station. Taxi in front of North Station is recommended between the 2 but the "T", Boston's subway system, may also be used by taking the "Green" line 3 stops to the "Red" line then 2 stops to South Station.
 
Much of Boston's subway system is underground. Entrance's to stations are indicated by a large black "T" on a white circular background. (See logo at left)
  Boston's Logan International Airport may be reached from North Station via the "Green" line to the "Blue" line to Airport Station.

Red Sox fans: "Green" line riders may use any outbound "B", "C" or "D" train to Kenmore Square. Do not board an "E" train.
